Genetic Anthropology, Cultures and Diseases

To search, how the human migration took place, scientists are now using various modern techniques including genetic analysis, optically stimulated luminescenes, thermoluminescence, besides radio-carbon techniques. On the basis of such analysis, anthropologists believe that Homo Sapiens (Human) first evolved in sub-Saharan Africa about 200,000 years ago, and began migrating out of Africa between 70,000 and 50,000 years ago, eventually colonizing the various parts of this planet Earth (also see, HOME). Most recent study suggests that this migration might started from northern part of Africa; check this and this site.
